Hotel Review: Domes White Coast Milos

Booking
Before booking my honeymoon I knew I wanted a luxury experience on a Greek island without the tourist crowds of peak season. I found Domes White Coast Milos on the Hyatt app and immediately fell in love with this resort and knew that I had to book part of my honeymoon here. It is a part of the Small Luxury Hotels Collection which is a partner of the World of Hyatt. We redeemed 29K points a night for a total of 116K points for four nights. Location
This adults only resort is nestled away in a very quiet part of the island, Myatakas. We arranged a car through the hotel to pick us up from the Milos airport which was a short 10 minute drive. The hotel is down an unpaved road in a secluded area. It is important to mention that it is not walkable to anything and we would recommend renting a car or using the hotel’s shuttle service. Although, we did not rent a car ahead of time, we utilized the concierge service when we arrived to arrange a rental car to explore the island.
When you book a SLH property through Hyatt you receive early checkin and late check out perks. We arrived before noon and we were able to eat breakfast at the hotels’ restaurant and check into our room early. The employees of this hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. We had the hotel concierge book all of our dinner reservations throughout our stay as well as give us local recommendations.
Room
The design aesthetic of this hotel is chic, modern luxury with a futuristic feel. The white rocks of Milos make you feel like you have landed on the moon. Each room at this resort comes with its own plunge pool overlooking the ocean, where you can watch the sunset each night. The room came with complimentary rose and fruit floating in the pool as we arrived.
We booked the standard room, which was a Deluxe Suite Pool View, which had a gorgeous view of the horizon. The room was spacious enough for two people including a standing shower, closet with cozy robes, complimentary water bottles each night, and night turn down service.
Food
The highlight of our stay here was the food! Breakfast is included in your stay when you book SLH properties with points! Before you even order your food a basket is brought out with bread, croissants, and pastries. You can order breakfast from their menu which had standard american breakfast options such as pancakes or eggs and traditional Greek options. I think we tried each breakfast option over the duration of our stay and the nutella pancakes were my favorite. We looked forward to eating our delicious breakfast at the hotel restaurant overlooking the pool and the ocean each morning.
We also ordered lunch and pool snacks from the hotel restaurant which were all delicious and moderately priced! On our last night we treated ourselves to dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was an unforgettable experience.
Overall
Overall, my husband and I both rate our experience at Domes White Coast a 10/10. The service was phenomenal, the views were breathtaking, and it was a true luxury stay. We would highly recommend to couples looking for a quiet, relaxing, and romantic beach vacation.
